Sylvaine Soldano is a freelance dancer and choreographer. She studied classical ballet with Claudette Scouarnec of the Paris Opera and Marika Besobrasova of Monte Carlo Academy Princesse Grace.

 

She has also worked in collaboration with many choreographers: Eldad Ben Sasson of the Batsheva Dance Company,Tero Saarinen, the Director of the Tero Saarinen Company, and Atsushi Takenouchi, the founder of Jinen Butoh, among others.

Soldano has pursued both her choreography and her dance career with the creation of the Liebe M. Dance Company in 2009. Her work Silver Wattle, a solo piece she has choreographed and performed herself, has been an ongoing creative work for which she has been granted a residency at the Micadanses Studios in Paris,France as well as at the Nirox Foundation in South Africa.

She has toured with her solo performances in Europe, Africa and North America with great success and has received excellent reviews.

Soldano has also conducted workshops at schools, academies and companies around the world.
